Dr. Emily Jeong

Dr. Emily Jeong completed her Bachelor’s in Science with distinction at the University of Alberta and then obtained her Doctor of Optometry and Masters in Vision Science at the New England College of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts. Throughout her clinical training, Dr. Jeong developed full scope optometric skills while working at sites like the South Boston Community Health Centre, the Veterans Affair Hospital in Providence, RI and at the contact lens department at The New England Centre for Eye Care. Through her experiences, Dr. Jeong holds special interest in primary care, paediatric optometry, contact lenses, and ocular disease. She is dedicated to providing quality eye care and ensuring all her patients are cared for.

Dr. Eke (Kelvin) Nkuma

Dr. Nkuma believes that great eye care starts with listening. He is passionate about helping patients feel comfortable, informed, and confident about their vision and eye health from the moment they walk through the door.

Originally from Nigeria, Dr. Eke obtained his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Federal University of Technology, Nigeria. Motivated by his passion for advancing his career in North America, he successfully completed the New York State International Optometry Licensing Program, allowing him to pursue optometric practice in North America. 

Dr. Eke provides comprehensive eye examinations for patients of all ages and has special interests in ocular disease, diabetic eye care, contact lenses, and preventive vision care. He enjoys explaining eye conditions in a way that is easy to understand, ensuring every patient leaves feeling informed and involved in their care.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Eke enjoys staying active and spending time with family and friends. His favourite hobbies include tennis, soccer, bowling, and video gaming. He also enjoys keeping up with the latest advancements in optometry and believes that continuous learning helps him provide the highest standard of care to his patients.
