Asgarpour Optometry at Chinook Centre offers comprehensive optometric services for patients across Calgary. Dr. Emily Jeong
Dr. Emily Jeong completed her Bachelor’s in Science with distinction at the University of Alberta and then obtained her Doctor of Optometry and Masters in Vision Science at the New England College of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts. Throughout her clinical training, Dr. Jeong developed full scope optometric skills while working at sites like the South Boston Community Health Centre, the Veterans Affair Hospital in Providence, RI and at the contact lens department at The New England Centre for Eye Care. Through her experiences, Dr. Jeong holds special interest in primary care, paediatric optometry, contact lenses, and ocular disease. She is dedicated to providing quality eye care and ensuring all her patients are cared for.
Dr. Eke (Kelvin) Nkuma
Dr. Kelvin obtained his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Federal University of Technology. He successfully completed the New York State International Optometry Licensing Program, allowing him to pursue optometric practice in North America. He believes that great eye care starts with listening. He is passionate about helping patients feel comfortable, informed, and confident about their eye health.
Dr. Kelvin provides comprehensive eye examinations for patients of all ages and has special interests in ocular disease, diabetic eye care, contact lenses, and preventive vision care. He enjoys explaining eye conditions in a way that is easy to understand for all of his patients.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Eke enjoys staying active and spending time with family and friends. His favorite hobbies include tennis, soccer, bowling, and video gaming. He looks forward to welcoming you and your family to Asgarpour Optometry and helping you maintain healthy vision for years to come.

Dr. Ike Uketui earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from Imo State University and brings over a decade of clinical experience in comprehensive eye care.
He has practiced in diverse clinical settings, managing a wide range of eye conditions and helping patients maintain optimal vision and eye health.
Dr. Uketui is committed to delivering thorough, patient-centered care with a strong focus on education and prevention.

Myopia Control

Includes myopia management and follow-up visits for the remainder of the year. Myopia control glasses and medications are not included.
Contact Lens Exam
$30-50
Contact lens assessment for fit, vision, and comfort. Trial lens and follow up appointments included. Price varies on type of fitting.
AISH Eye Exam
No Cost
For eligible AISH patients when the eye exam is not otherwise covered by AHC. Retinal imaging & OCT included.
Vision & Employment Forms
No Cost
Included at no additional cost when completed with a comprehensive eye exam.
Senior Eye Exam
